Three communities from Khmelnytskyi received grants for business development
The projects will be implemented as part of the development of social entrepreneurship.
The final of the School of Social Entrepreneurship took place in Kamianets-Podilskyi, where three communities of Khmelnytskyi region received grant support for the development of their own businesses. The Platform for Social Change charity organization told “E” about this.
30 participants from the Khmelnytsky region competed for the award, who not only presented their projects, but also went through an intensive training program to strengthen their skills in the areas of social entrepreneurship, business planning and project management.
The three best projects aimed at solving the social needs of the Khmelnytskyi community received grant support:
“Katran” Business School – the social mission of the project is to increase the financial literacy of the youth of Khmelnytskyi, which contributes to the economic strengthening of the region and the country as a whole.
“Mama Bakes” — the project envisages the opening of a mini-bakery in the House of Mothers and Children “Dobra Mama” to support mothers with children living there. This is the first such social project in the Teofipol community.
“Delicious with hope!” — the social mission of the project is to educate, unite and support vulnerable categories of the community’s population in the processes of processing, storage and sale of agricultural products. Thus, the enterprise produces dry borscht, assorted fruits, and energy bars for the military. The founders of the project involved the local population and families of IDPs in the production.
